Social entrepreneurship is the evaluation of opportunities that emerge from creating value for economical and social issues in both public and private sector with an innovative perspective. In recent years, there has been a lack of research regarding the impact of social entrepreneurship, which has become an intriguing topic of academic studies, on innovation in women’s co-operatives. In this study, Bornova Women’s Initiative Production and Management Co-operative, which is a social entrepreneurial organization operating in the city of Izmir, has been handled with the case study method within the framework of qualitative research in order to fill the gap in the literature. Consequently, the obtained data has put forward the difficulties faced by social entrepreneurs in the process of innovative activities and their innovative approaches in order to meet market demand.
