Abstract
Bu çalışmada hem millî ekonomiyi kalkındırma hem de kültür, sanat ve turizm unsurlarıyla dünyada sevgi ve barışın istikrarı için katkı sağlayan turizm kavramının ne ifade ettiği, ne zamandan beri kullanıldığını, turizm şekillerini ve Kahramanmaraş’ta faaliyet gösteren turizm çeşitleri incelenmiştir. Akdeniz Kentinin doğusunda yer alan ve tarih boyunca sık sık el değiştiren bu şehir, uygarlıkların izlerini günümüze taşıyan, zengin mirası ve muazzam doğal kaynakları ile farklı turizm çeşitlerine ev sahipliği yapmıştır.

Abstract
In this study, it is examined what the tourism concept contributes to the stability of love and peace in the world with the elements of culture, art and tourism as well as the development of the national economy and how it has been used, the types of tourism and the types of tourism in Kahramanmaraş. This city, which is located in the east of the Mediterranean City and has changed its hands frequently throughout history, has carried the traces of civilizations to the present day, and has hosted a variety of different kinds of tourism with its rich heritage and enormous natural resources
