Abstract
COVID-19 salgını Çin'de başladı ve dünyadaki hemen hemen her ülkeyi hızla etkiledi. Pandemiye çare bulunamaması, ülkeleri pandeminin yayılmasını önlemek için sert önlemler almaya zorladı. İnsanlar arasındaki etkileşimi azaltmayı amaçlayan bu önlemler, kendiyle beraber ekonomik sorunları da getirmiştir. COVİD-19 pandemisi dünya çapında birçok ölüme neden oldu. Küresel salgın sadece halk sağlığını tehdit etmekle kalmadı, aynı zamanda arz ve talep arasındaki dengeyi bozdu ve ticari faaliyetleri engelledi. Hemen hemen tüm ekonomik sektörleri etkiledi. Yarattığı gelir kaybı ile bireylerin ve toplumun refahını olumsuz yönde etkilemiştir. Koronavirüs pandemisi tüm dünyayı hızı, derinliği ve ölçeğinde eşi görülmemiş bir ekonomik krizle karşı karşıya bıraktı. Şüphesiz pandeminin en fazla etkilendiği sektörler hizmet sektörü olmuştur. Sert karantina kuralları birçok şirketlerin işçi çıkarmasına veya iflasına neden olmuştur. Çalışmamızda COVİD-19 pandemisinin dünya üzerinde ekonomik etkileri üzerine bir değerlendirme yapılacaktır.

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic started in China and quickly affected almost every country in the world. The failure to find a cure for the pandemic has forced countries to take drastic measures to prevent the spread of the pandemic. These measures, which aim to reduce the interaction between people, have brought economic problems with them. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many deaths worldwide. The global pandemic has not only threatened public health, but also disrupted the balance between supply and demand and hampered commercial activities. It has affected almost all economic sectors. It has negatively affected the welfare of individuals and society with the loss of income it has created. The coronavirus pandemic has confronted the world with an economic crisis unprecedented in its speed, depth and scale. Undoubtedly, the sectors most affected by the pandemic have been the service sector. Strict quarantine rules have caused many companies to lay off workers or go bankrupt. In our study, an evaluation will be made on the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the world.
