Abstract

It is reality that the social ability of the woman is more than the man in the world. Nevertheless the share of the labor is not more than 50 percent in the developed countries too. This study aims to consider both theoretical and empirical sides of the factors of the women’s self-employment. In the empirical part panel data is used for inquiring the relationship between private sector credits, income level, labor force participation rate and women’s self-employment. In the study that has data covering 2001-2014 appropriate tests are done for 27 EU countries and Turkey. Breusch&Pagan LM test, fixed effect test and Haussmann test are used to choose which one of the Pooled, Fixed or Random Effect Models is more suitable for the data. It is expected that there is powerful relation between the variables.
