Abstract
OECD/FAO (2017) yayınladığı raporda tarım ticaretinin artmaya devam edeceğini, ancak geçmişe kıyasla bu artışın daha yavaş bir oranda gerçekleşeceğini belirtmiştir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, bu çalışmada da tarım ticaretinin ve hayvansal üretimin Türkiye ekonomisi açısından önemi ele alınmıştır. Yöntem olarak Johansen Eş-bütünleşme testi ve Vektör Hata Düzeltme Modeline dayalı Granger Nedensellik testi kullanılmıştır. Johansen Eş-bütünleşme testi sonucunda değişkenler arasında uzun dönem ilişkinin olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Granger Nedensellik testi sonucunda kısa dönemde değişkenler arasında bir nedensellik bulunamamıştır. Uzun dönemde ise gayri safi yurtiçi hasıladan ve hayvansal üretimden tarım ticaretine doğru nedensellik olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır

Abstract
OECD / FAO (2017) reported that agricultural trade would continue to increase, even though more slowly than in the past. To this end, the importance of agricultural trade and livestock production on Turkey’s economy is also considered in this study. Granger Causality Test based on Johansen Cointegration Test and Vector Error Correction Model are used as estimation methods. Johansen Cointegration Test results in a long-term relationship between the variables. As a result of Granger Causality Test, there is no causality between the variables in the short-term. In the long-term, causality from gross domestic product and livestock production towards agricultural trade is determined.
