Abstract

Abstract

It is seen that studies on workplace spirituality increased during the pandemic period, however, this trend remained limited in the domestic literature. In this context, the aim of the study is to determine the organizational variables that workplace spirituality is frequently found together in publications and to which it has a high relationship, and to increase awareness of the concept in terms of domestic literature. For this purpose, data were collected from the Web of Science (WoS) database and bibliometric analyzes were performed using VOSviewer. 839 publications and 1785 keywords were used in the analysis. According to the results of the research, the organizational variables that workplace spirituality has the highest connection power and the highest relationship; spiritual leadership, work engagement, ethical leadership, organizational citizenship behavior and spiritual climate. However, it is thought that the variables of organizational culture, leadership, psychological resilience, organizational resilience and spiritual capital can be studied more together with workplace spirituality. Variables that have been relatively recently studied with workplace spirituality; spiritual climate, work engagement, mindfulness, employee commitment, organizational commitment and job satisfaction. It is thought that more importance should be given to workplace spirituality due to its many positive effects. However, it can be said that it is necessary to be careful against the negative effects that may occur. For this purpose, it is suggested that administrators should understand different spiritual views and approach all opinions equally, and should take care not to create a situation that will lead to discrimination.
