Abstract
Çalışan motivasyonu, çalışanları organizasyonun belirli amaç ve hedeflerine ulaşmaya yönlendiren bir güç olarak kabul edilir. Bugünlerde, herkes finansal ve insan kaynaklarını en iyi şekilde kullanmak istediğinden, kuruluşların cızırdayan konularından biridir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, motivasyon kavramının çalışma hayatına sağladığı fayda ve önemini, kavramlarla ilgili tanımları yapmak ve tarihsel süreçte incelenen kuramsal altyapısını araştırmaktır Çalışmanın sonunda ise, motivasyonun örgütsel yaşamda çalışmakta olan yöneticiler ve çalışanlar açısından önemi çerçevesinde değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır.

Employee motivation is considered a force that drives employees to achieve the specific goals and objectives of the organization. It is one of the sizzling topics of organizations these days as everyone wants to make the most of their financial and human resources. The purpose of this study is to define the benefits and importance of the concept of motivation in working life, to make definitions about the concepts and to investigate the theoretical background that has been examined in the historical process.
